Ireland & Connemara
This European island country with its unique scenery is with good reason known as the ‘Emerald Isle’. County Galway arguably one of the most beautiful counties in Ireland lies along the Atlantic coast and to the west of the county lies Connemara. A wild rocky shoreline gives way to mountainous interior traversed by rivers and lakes.
Thanks to the Atlantic and the Gulf Stream, Ireland enjoys a pleasant maritime climate with relatively mild temperatures all the year round.
