Your private estate of the highest standard

Screebe House was built as a hunting/fishing lodge by the Berridge family ( Ballinahinch Estate) in 1865, although a house stood on this site since 1847. This wonderfully scenic house is located in an enchanting natural setting in the Connemara region, overlooking an inlet from the Atlantic Ocean and surrounded by countless lakes, rivers, imposing mountains, moors and forests. In 2010 the house was thoroughly renovated and brought back to its former Victorian glory.
The local waters belong to the estate and are famous for their stocks of pike, salmon, brown and sea trout. The estate consists of 40,000 acres of sporting rights and is justly famous for its red deer, woodcock, and duck hunting.

With six double rooms, one twin and one single- all with en-suite- it offers sleeping accommodation for fifteen people. The house has a landscaped garden, which can be used for receptions, celebrations, conferences etc.
The House staff will ensure the guests individual comfort. The outstanding cuisine and wine list are of the same high standard. All dishes are produced with locally selected ingredients, many from the estates own vegetable, herb garden, hunting area, lakes and rivers.
